Based on Joseph Pilates' original design, the
bulk of pilates sessions is performed on this piece of equipment.
It warms the body, articulates joints, dictates coordination, and
employs several muscle groups simultaneously. The center powerhouse,
the core of the body, is strengthened from the sternum to the pubic
bone, commanding stability and placement as the body reforms.
The following exercises are only a few of the
hundreds of movements that can be performed on the Reformer Bed.
